KYIV. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said he was appalled by the reaction of some countries over the Belarusian-Ukrainian high-level talks held recently in Kyiv. "One should not be allergic to our talks in Kyiv," Lukashenko said at a meeting with Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn in Kyiv on Friday as part of his formal visit to Ukraine. Before his meeting at the Verkhovna Rada, Lukashenko read Ukrainian, Belarusian and foreign papers and their reactions to the talks held in Kyiv, Lukashenko said. "I would like to highlight one aspect: someone is not very fond of our rapprochement reaching the level of strategic relations. But this is not our problem. These are the problems of those who are reacting to it like this," the Belarusian leader said. "We are neighbors and we must build good neighborly relations," he said. "You may not worry for your northern neighbor," Lukashenko told Lytvyn. Belarus and Ukraine are "hiding absolutely nothing," he also added. "We have no closed subjects for cooperation," Lukashenko said. Over the past three years the two countries' presidents "worked quietly and persistently to find solutions to their problems," he said. "Yesterday we drew a line under everything that has been done and admitted the fact of solving all the problems. I would even say questions rather than problems," the Belarusian leader said.
