Metso to provide FGD automation for 1,320 MW project
Metso Automation Shanghai said it has been selected by SINOFINN Electric Engineering Corp. of China to implement maxDNA distributed control systems (DCS) for flue gas desulphurization (FGD) facilities of a 1,320 MW generating station.

Suez to build coal fired plant in Turkey up to 1300 MW
Suez Energy International and Mimag-Samko have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop, build and operate a thermal power plant in Turkey with an installed capacity of 800 MW to 1300 MW.

Iran, Armenia ink MoU on building hydropower plant

Wind Capital Group, NTR confirm completion of wind transaction
Wind Capital Group and NTR said that their recently announced wind energy transaction has been completed. The agreement is reportedly worth $150 million.
