Vattenfall wins long-term contract to supply 13 TWh to pulp, paper maker
Vattenfall has signed an agreement with Finnish/Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer Stora Enso to supply electricity up to and including 2019, covering around 13 TWh.

Alstom to supply hydroelectric power plant equipment in Uganda

Bruce to prepare 4,000 MWe nuclear power site
Bruce Power Alberta completed its deal to buy the assets of Energy Alberta Corp. relating to nuclear power plant development. Bruce Power Alberta also filed an application with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) to prepare a site for the potential construction of western Canada's first nuclear power plant.

Power engineering group Siemens Energy has received a follow-up order worth about €300m ($467m) from China Light and Power, after the successful completion of Siemens's first supply system expansion project in Hong Kong, China.
