DOE, Ormat to work on oilfield heat recovery
Ormat Technologies, Inc. announced it has signed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to work on the production of commercial electricity using hot water produced during the process of oilfield production.

B&W awarded environmental control equipment contract
The Babcock & Wilcox Co. (B&W) recently received a contract valued at more than $100 million from PNM to design, supply and erect low NOx burners, baghouses and other equipment for the New Mexico plant.
