Skanska to build $136m thermo plant in Brazil
Sweden's Skanska AB has announced that it has won an order worth $136m from Brazilian oil company Petrobras to build a thermoelectric power plant in Cubatao, 60 km from San Paulo.

Wärtsilä awarded contract for California gas-fired plant
Wärtsilä Corp. has been awarded an equipment supply contract by a subsidiary of Tierra Energy, an Austin, Texas-based based independent power producer, for simple-cycle gas-fired engines.
