Fitch: U.S. coal industry well positioned for summer, strong market fundamentals
Fundamentals for the U.S. coal industry should improve through the second half of 2007 as increased electricity generation coupled with declining production results in destocking, according to a Fitch Ratings report.

Denmark 'near power failure' after fault in Germany
A fault in German transmission system operator E.ON Netz's 400 kV Wilster transformer station north of Elben in northern Germany on 29 May could have led to a power failure in western Denmark, Danish transmission system operator Energinet.dk said in a statement.
