NRC inspecting nuke plant after shutdown
As reported by the Associated Press, Federal regulators are conducting a special inspection at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in California after a reactor needed to be shut down last week.

Gazprom reportedly pulling out of China gas agreement

Areva wins €1 bn uranium enrichment order in S Korea
French nuclear energy group Areva has won a long-term contract worth more than €1 bn ($1.34 bn) to supply uranium enrichment services to South Korean electricity company Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co Ltd (KHNP), according to French newspaper La Tribune.
