Alstom acquires Spanish wind turbine maker Ecotecnia for €350m
French industrial engineering group Alstom has agreed to buy 100 per cent of Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Ecotècnia in a deal worth €350 million ($471 million).

IBERDROLA to acquire Energy East Corp.
The Boards of IBERDROLA S.A. and Energy East Corp. have approved a merger agreement under which IBERDROLA will acquire 100% of Energy East, which will become part of the IBERDROLA group.
