EU act against power engineering firms over price fixing

Dabhol comeback achieved
India's Dabhol power plant has restarted electricity generation after a hiatus lasting five years. On Sunday the former Enron plant located in Maharashtra state was synchronized with the power grid and produced around 20-25 MW from one of its turbine units.

Startech Environmental Corp. announced that it has successfully completed the first of the two-phase U.S. Department of Energy program that has as its focus on the production of plasma converted gas (PCG) from processing coal and municipal solid waste.
