WADE appoints new chairman
Jaakko Eskola, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Power Plants Business of Wärtsilä Corporation has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE) with effect from 1 January 2006.

World Nuclear Association says nuclear least cost option
A new World Nuclear Association report, which distills recent independent studies, concludes that nuclear power has become, in most major countries, the least-cost means of producing added base-load electricity.
