E.ON enters Romanian electricity market
German utility E.ON announced Monday that it had signed a privatization agreement with the Romanian government in Bucharest, paving the way for E.ON's acquisition of a majority stake in Romanian regional utility Electrica Moldova.

Duke test market for power supplies

South Australia's largest wind farm opened
A 46 MW wind farm featuring the largest wind turbines in Australia was today officially opened in South Australia's. The A $A92.5m ($71.23m) Canunda Wind Farm at Lake Bonney near Millicent is owned by UK-based International Power.
