CHS Invests in US BioEnergy
CHS Inc, a US grain-based foods and supply company, announced Thursday it has acquired about 28 per cent ownership in US BioEnergy Corporation, an ethanol production and marketing firm.

Wärtsilä to acquire Gerhardt Holding
Wärtsilä has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of US service company Gerhardt Holding Co., Inc. The company specializes in the servicing of control and automation equipment for gas and diesel engines and steam turbines.

Debt refinance for Loy Yang Power
Australia's Loy Yang Power is undertaking a refinancing of its A$2.1bn ($1.54bn) debt facility, consolidation the number of borrowing institutions from 38 to ten.

Singapore Power plans Australian IPO
Singapore Power is planning to sell half of its interest in SP AusNet through an IPO. The sale is expected to raise A$1.6bn ($1.17bn) and would allow for overseas expansion at the Australian electricity transmission provider and network operator.
