South Korea to expand thermal fusion energy use
South Korea will seek to drastically increase the use of thermal fusion energy over the next ten years as part of efforts to secure a stable electricity supply, the Commerce Ministry said Wednesday.

Newton-Evans Research Company has completed a three-month research study and survey of protective relay usage patterns in the North American electric power business. China's first superconductor power cable network has became operational, making it one of the three countries which have such advanced electricity transmission system.

Alstom wins order for 40 MW power plant in Australia
Alstom has been awarded a turnkey EPC contract to provide a new steam and power plant for Ravensthorpe Nickel Operations Pty Ltd. in Western Australia. The power plant will generate 40 MWe of electricity, which will be used by the nickel ore beneficiation and hydrometallurgical process plants on site.
