GE Energy announced Tuesday it has completed its acquisition of the assets of three business units of S.D. Myers, Inc. of Tallmadge, Ohio, a global leader in transformer and substation maintenance services.

Redwood II, a US company owned by ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC announced Wednesday that it has acquired ten power generation facilities from Redwood, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of John Hancock Life Insurance Company.

El Paso Merchant Energy, a business unit of El Paso Corporation, has announced that on Friday, July 23, it closed the sale of 10 domestic power generation facilities for $28m to Redwood L.L.C., an affiliate of John Hancock Life Insurance Company and an equity partner in those facilities.

Flowserve and Wood Group Form North American service alliance
Flowserve Corp. and Wood Group Gas Turbine Services Holdings, Inc., part of the Gas Turbine Services division of John Wood Group PLC (Wood Group), have announced an alliance to deliver a wide range of field and shop-based services for the maintenance, repair and upgrade of pumps and related equipment throughout the United States and Canada.

NEGT Agrees to Sell Equity Interests in 12 Power Plants
America's National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc. (NEGT), ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC and Caithness Energy, LLC yesterday announced a definitive agreement for Denali Power, LLC, a company formed by affiliates of ArcLight and Caithness, to acquire NEGT's equity interests in 12 power plants and a natural gas pipeline for approximately $558m, subject to certain post-closing adjustments as specified in the definitive agreement.
