Transfield to build $171m power plant in W. Australia
Services and Energy company Transfield Services Ltd will build a A$250 million ($170.88m) 260 MW gas fired power station in Western Australia (WA) next year.

Austrian trio to build Bulgarian hydro plant
Austrian power companies, VA Tech Hydro, Verbundplan and Alpine Mayreder Bau have agreed a €200m ($234m) project with Bulgaria's power export monopoly NETC on Wednesday to build an 80 MW hydro power station and a dam in the Balkan country.
