Caterpillar Group president Oberhelman nominated to Ameren board
Ameren Corp. announced that Douglas R. Oberhelman, group president of Caterpillar Inc. was nominated for election to the Ameren Corporation Board of Directors.

New vice president roles in Entergy Nuclear South
Two Entergy Nuclear South vice presidents will begin new roles April 7. William A. "Bill" Eaton, now vice president at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, will become vice president of engineering for the South region. George A. Williams, now vice president of operations support, has accepted a rotational assignment as vice president at Grand Gulf. Gregory D. Pierce, current director of nuclear support, will step up as acting vice president of operations support.

GE Wind Energy announces new series of 2-MW class wind turbines
GE Wind Energy plans to expand its family of wind turbines with the introduction of the 2.x series, which will include 2.3, 2.5 and 2.7 megawatt machines designed for a wide range of onshore applications, the company announced Tuesday.

NorthWestern names William M. Austin to executive team as chief restructuring officer
NorthWestern Corp. announced that William M. Austin has been named to the newly created position of Chief Restructuring Officer. The appointment is effective immediately and Austin reports to Gary G. Drook, Chief Executive Officer of NorthWestern.

Vattenfall withdraws from UK trading services market
Vattenfall AB, Stockholm, has announced that the company will discontinue its trading services activities on the UK power market. Vattenfall has closed its London office and moved staff back to the Stockholm headquarters.
