Nevada utilities sign contracts for solar power
Sierra Pacific Resources' two Nevada-based utility units have signed long-term contracts with Duke Solar Energy LLC to supply 50 MW of solar electricity from a plant to be located in Eldorado Valley, near Boulder City, Nev.

FirstEnergy decides to keep four power plants along Lake Erie
FirstEnergy Corp. said it will retain ownership of its four coal-fired power plants along Lake Erie in Ohio after reviewing bids it got from parties interested in buying the plants.

Indiana Regulatory Commission approves settlement between PSI Energy, consumer counselor and commission staff
