27 June 2008 - The Board of directors of Russia's TGK-2 have approved a 1.3bn rubles ($55.3m) contract with OJSC "E4 Group" for the extension of Yaroslavl (gas fired) TPP-2.

The investment project provides construction in Yaroslavl TPP-2 of GTU-160 with steam heat recovery boiler operating to existing turbine PT 60-130-13.
Under the contract it is scheduled to proceed to the work in July of this year and to complete the work in July 2010.
