DMI Industries to expand Okla., ND wind tower facilities

5 June 2008 -- DMI Industries said it will expand its wind tower manufacturing facilities in North Dakota and Oklahoma.

DMI says it expects the expansions to increase capacity by 40 percent at the West Fargo plant and by 100 percent at the Oklahoma plant.

This news closely follows the recent release of the facility's first tower shipment, which took place in mid-May.

DMI expects the expansion to cost $30 million and they anticipate employment of an additional 350 or more workers.

The facilities are expected to meet 2009 and 2010 production demands.
