Vestas to supply 33 wind turbines to Canada

Danish wind turbine maker Vestas received an order for 33 units of its V90-3MW wind turbine for installation in Canada. The order was received from an unit of Suez Renewable Energy NA, the renewable energy division of Texas-based Suez Energy North America.

The 99 MW wind turbine order includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines and a three-year service and maintenance agreement. Vestas will start delivery of the 33 turbines in mid-2009 and expects to complete commissioning in the second half of 2009.
