Babcock Power Environmental Inc. announced that it has recently been awarded a contract for the design and supply of two Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization Systems (WFGD) from Basin Electric Power Cooperative. The two WFGD Systems will be installed at Basin Electric's 660 MW, lignite coal-based power plant Leland Olds Station, near Stanton, ND. The contract has an approximate value of $70 million and is scheduled for completion in 2010.
