Proposed Great Falls, Mont. power plant will move ahead

Plans for a coal-fired power plant proposed near Great Falls, Mont. will proceed as planned. The size of the plant can be adjusted from 250 MW to 215 MW, which is the amount of power needed by five rural electric co-ops that serve 60,000 people in central and southcentral Montana.
