29 June 2007 -- Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas Inc. announced that it will proceed with plans to build a new turbine parts manufacturing facility. The new manufacturing operation will be located adjacent to the present MPS Orlando Service Center and will feature a new center for combustion turbine blade and vane component manufacturing. The new facility will also include a photovoltaic solar generating system manufactured by Mitsubishi.

The $64.5 million long term investment in the site will begin immediately, with the initial parts production phase planned for operation by mid 2008.
