Aquila plans $150M peaking plant

19 April 2007 -- Aquila Inc. said it plans to build a 300 MW gas-fired power plant in Sedalia, MO. The proposed $150 million energy center would have three to four power-generating turbine units. Construction could start in mid-2008 and take approximately a year to complete.
