Alstom wins long-term service agreement in Russia

5 April 2007 - Alstom has signed an operation and maintenance contract with Russian utility OJSC Mosenergo for the Mosenergo Combined Heat and Power Plant 26, in Moscow.

The scope of the contract covers parts and field services for the GT26 gas turbine, its generator and direct auxiliaries, for a period of four years.

The operation and maintenance contract follows an EPC contract, which Mosenergo signed in December 2006 with Alstom, in consortium with its Russian partner, Power Engineering Group Energomachinostroitelny Alliance (EMAlliance) for the supply and creation of the multi-shaft combined-cycle unit comprising a GT26 gas turbine, a steam turbine, two generators, one heat recovery steam generator and the control system for the entire facility. The unit is expected to go into commercial operation in 2009.
