21 March 2007--NRG Energy has authorized Clyde Bergemann EEC, a unit of Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas, to proceed with engineering and procurement for air pollution control systems at its Huntley and Dunkirk stations in Tonawanda and Dunkirk, New York.

Clyde Bergemann will design, supply and construct 10 of its modular Pulse Jet Fabric Filters including ash removal systems, ID fans and interconnecting duct work as well as Trona and carbon dry sorbent injection systems for sulfur dioxide and mercury removal.

The ash handling system will use Clyde Bergemann's dense phase technology. Construction is scheduled in three phases at six month intervals with the first units going online in early 2009 and the last in 2010. Clyde Bergemann acquired the provider of air pollution control systems a little over a year ago.
