Vestas receives new wind turbines order in Spain

9 March 2007 - Danish wind turbines maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S has announced that has won a turnkey contract for 14 wind turbines from Spanish developer Parque Eolico Puerto Real.

Spanish subsidiary Vestas Eolica's contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of V90-3 MW turbines, the VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a two-year service agreement.

The wind turbines will be installed at the Cortijo de Guerra project in Andalusia, Spain. Parque Eolico Puerto Real is owned by Danish renewable power producer EuroTrust A/S.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
