26 February 2007 - Morocco has invited expressions of interest for the 200-300 MW wind farm project to be located near the southwestern city of Tarfaya.

Office National De L'electricite (ONE) has invited companies and consortia to submit their expression of interest and request for prequalification by 21 March this year for the wind farm. The project will be structured under a build, own, operate, transfer (BOOT) scheme, with a 20 years off-take agreement with ONE.

Commercial operation of the 200-300 MW wind farm, to be located two kilometres south of Tarfaya, is scheduled for 2010.
