8 November 2006 -- Berlin-based Borsig announced that as of September the company has taken over the Hamburg-based boiler construction company DIM Kraftwerks-Engineering GmbH & Co. KG.

The company will operate under the new name of Borsig Boiler Systems GmbH and will re-enter the Borsig Group into the construction business of boilers and power plants.

Up to now, the Borsig Group's portfolio of supplies and services covers apparatuses, heat exchangers, membrane technology, compressors, as well as power plant and industry service.
