12 October 2006 -- Sargent & Lundy LLC has been selected by TVA Nuclear (TVAN) as the supplier of engineering design services for routine capital projects for its fleet of nuclear generating stations.

The multi-year contract outsources to Sargent & Lundy the majority of the nuclear engineering & design previously performed by TVAN in Chattanooga in their support of the site engineering organizations for its Browns Ferry, Sequoyah, and Watts Bar nuclear stations.

Sargent & Lundy has been providing services to TVA Nuclear and TVA Power System Operations for 15 years. Sargent & Lundy is relocating and expanding its regional engineering office in downtown Chattanooga to accommodate additional professional staff who will be supporting the TVA nuclear program.
