E.ON may invest in Finnish nuclear plant

9 October 2006 -- Bloomberg reported that E.ON AG's Nordic unit may invest in a new nuclear reactor in Finland, if regulators approve plans for the power plant.

E.ON already has a stake in Finland's fifth nuclear reactor and would consider expanding its stake in the country's nuclear market, E.ON Nordic spokesman Stieg Claesson told a reporter. He said the Finnish government hasn't yet approved plans to build a sixth reactor.
