E.ON to appeal CNE conditions

1 August 2006 - After a preliminary evaluation of the approval issued last Friday by Spain's Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE) relating to E.ON's offer to acquire Endesa, E.ON has decided to file an appeal with Spain's
Ministry of Industry.

The appeal, which will be filed next week, in particular addresses CNE conditions regarding asset disposals.
