Siemens extends I&C deal with Doosan

27 July 2006 - Earlier this week the South Korean company Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction and Siemens Power Generation (PG) signed an agreement for the supply of instrumentation & Control (I&C) equipment for a further five years.

According to the agreement, Doosan is to primarily install Siemens I&C equipment in its projects all around the world.

The cooperation agreement was signed in Karlsruhe by Karlheinz Springer, Head of the Instrumentation and Controls Division of Siemens AG Power Generation and Hwang Jik Lee, Vice-President at Doosan. Both gentlemen placed great emphasis on continuing this close and successful partnership in just the same way in the future.

An original I&C deal was signed between the two firm in 1996.
