Aggreko announces €25m investment


7 July 2006 - Temporary power equipment supplier Aggreko has invested €25m ($32m) in new equipment in the past year in response to increasing demand for temporary generating and temperature control equipment in Europe.

The company has its own manufacturing facility in Dumbarton, Scotland, where generators are produced to exacting quality standards.

Commenting on the latest round of investments, Kash Pandya, European Regional Managing Director, Aggreko stated, "We understand the needs of rental power and temperature control users, in terms of the reliability of delivery and the requirement for uninterrupted supplies". He added, "We also appreciate that only by delivering top quality, state of the art equipment and proper round the clock back up and support can we retain our leading position in the marketplace".
