2 May 2006 - The world's largest electric arc furnace transformers and reactors have just been delivered by Areva T&D to a customer in Turkey.
Areva's manufacturing plant in Gebze, Turkey, delivered the first 240/265 MVA Electric Arc Furnace transformer and 77.4 MVAr reactor to the Turkish company Colakoglu. This delivery was part of a contract worth over €4m ($5.5m) to Areva.
