Under the contract, which combines both routine Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and major maintenance, WGPO will provide mobilization, start-up assistance, continued plant O&M services and scheduled major maintenance services for two LM6000 gas turbines and generators in operation at the Fresno site.
Frank Avery, President of WGPO, said: "KRCD is another example of the value proposition that WGPO can offer. Through leveraging of the broader capabilities within Wood Group Gas Turbine Services, we can create a flexible, value added solution for power plant management that aligns the client's performance goals with our core capabilities."
Jack Sinor, Assistant General Manager for KRCD, said: "WGPO demonstrated throughout the entire contracting process that their O&M services were uniquely different to those of other service provides. They were able to bring solutions for O&M, inventory management and major maintenance together in a complete offering and on a very competitive basis. In the end, the value offered was more than we have seen in the industry from other providers."
