J-Power to invest $125m in Thai plant

1 November 2004 - Japan's Electric Power Development Co., J-Power, are to invest a further $125m in power generation operations in Thailand.

The investment will see J-Power making its tenth such investment in a country, where rising demand for electric power is accompanying strong economic growth.

The firm will invest in construction of a gas fuelled power generation plant with an output of roughly 1.5m kW.
