Russia produces more electrical energy

22 October 2004 - In September Russia boosted the production of electrical energy by 0.7 per cent. Energy companies produced 68.6bn kilowatt-hour, according to data released by the Russian Federal Statistics Service.

Hydro power stations accounted for 19.8 per cent of the overall energy produced in Russia from January to September compared to 17.9 per cent a year earlier.
