14 October 2004 - Von Roll Inc. has been renamed AE&E - Von Roll Inc., to reflect the purchase of Von Roll's Swiss parent company by Austrian Energy and Environment AG (AE&E).

"Our new name signifies the start of a new future for our company and our customers," said Mitchel Gorski, vice president of AE&E - Von Roll's US operations. "We view our joining the AE&E family as a very positive strategic move that will build on the success and the organization which we have established to serve the North American market."

The purchase of Von Roll Inc. is part of AE&E's growth and globalisation strategy. Its customers include public and private power companies, local authorities, waste disposal firms, and industrial companies in Europe, Canada and the USA.

AE&E chairman, Christian Schmidt said, "The technologies, products, and market orientation of both companies complement each other and will materially strengthen our ability to serve customers throughout the world."
