Director appointed at PB Power

23 September 2004 - International consulting engineers PB Power have appointed a new Business Development Director. Mike Allison will have responsibility for business development within the company's Power Networks and Energy and Utility Strategic Consultancy operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

He has over 25 years' experience in the UK electricity supply industry, having worked for both the Central Electricity Generating Board and the National Grid Company, where he held senior project management and technical positions in transmission construction, system planning, system control, substation maintenance and engineering.

Mike joins PB Power from a consultancy background, having worked on power network business development within the Europe, Africa and Middle East region, and on major T&D projects worldwide.

Dr Bill Ritchie, PB Power's Managing Director, welcomed the appointment, commenting: "Mike has significant experience of electrical power engineering, change management, and engineering consultancy in Europe, Africa and the Far East. He will be an asset to our existing business development team."
