Nuclear Facilities spend $2m on CompuDyne security

29 April 2004 - CompuDyne Corp. a provider of sophisticated security products, integration and technology for the public security markets, yesterday reported at the Hanover Fair that it was awarded over $2m in contracts for blast and ballistic resistant windows, doors and gun ports for use at nuclear reactor facilities.

CompuDyne's Attack Protection Group was awarded over $2 million in blast and high-level ballistic windows, doors and gun ports by a modular building manufacturer. These products are to be used in security booths around the country in response to mandates by the Nuclear Regulator Commission for security improvements to meet Homeland Security needs.

CompuDyne's Attack Protection Group is one of the largest suppliers of high-end bullet, blast and attack resistant windows and doors for high value targets such as US embassies worldwide.
