27 April 2004 - Engineering IT software and services group Aveva, yesterday announced that Fluor Corporation has purchased a three-year, worldwide license agreement for the entire suite of Vantage Plant Design and engineering software solutions.
The agreement provides Fluor with on-demand, pay-as-you- go access to Aveva's solutions, and allows faster mobilization on its global design, engineering, procurement and construction projects.
"On-demand access to engineering solutions is a key component of Fluor's project automation strategy, allowing us to mobilize resources as needed to support the ebb and flow of our businesses worldwide," said Michael Pye, Global Functional Lead, Project Automation for Fluor Corporation.
