20 April 2004 - Energia, a member of the Viridian Group PLC and the largest independent supply company in Ireland has signed an agreement for ICIS Technology Limited's Energy Management System, RetailOffice. ICIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Power Generation.

Energia has deployed this Siemens Energy Business Solution to automate and manage customer load profiling, forecasting, profit and loss reporting, along with risk reporting. "The implementation of RetailOffice will add transparency to our business processes providing real-time feedback," states Dr. Nico O'Rourke, Middle Office Manager of Viridian Energia. O'Rourke adds, "RetailOffice will integrate data sources from across the enterprise to produce an accurate and timely snapshot of Energia's risk position. This will help us identify more business opportunities, avoid unnecessary risks, make better economic decisions, all with greater efficiency."
