Chicago, Feb. 24, 2004 -- Blackwell Consulting Services (BCS), a full-service, full life-cycle management and information technology consulting firm has selected Jackson, Miss., as its newest office site.
The 12-year-old company had revenues exceeding $30 million in 2003 and is the largest minority-owned IT consultancy in the Midwest.
Leading the new office is Vanessa Taylor, vice president of business development for BCS of Mississippi. Coming from her role as chief operating officer at Real-time Services Technology Inc., Taylor brings more than twelve years of software development and project leadership experience to BCS.
"We noticed that companies in Jackson are increasingly interested in using technology to streamline business functions and increase operational efficiencies," said Taylor. "This gives us the opportunity to partner with companies in every market BCS targets, such as government, insurance, education and leasing and finance, to meet those needs."
BCS continues to experience tremendous growth since its inception in 1992, with consistent capital gains each quarter. Blackwell Consulting Services of Mississippi marks the company's seventh office, with its headquarters in Chicago and other offices in Atlanta, Miami, Bloomington, Ill., Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio.
