Coen Company, Inc. appoints new president

Burlingame, CA, Jan. 19, 2004 -- Coen Company, Inc. recently appointed Antonio de la O as its new President and CEO. Mr. de la O joined Coen in 1985 as General Manager of Sistemas en Combustion, Coen's subsidiary in Mexico.

In 1990, he joined Coen's International Division and served as Manager of International Operations, Manager of International Marketing, and most recently as Director of International Operations.

Coen Company is also pleased to announce James H. White as President Emeritus. Mr. White joined Coen Company in 1971 and in 1980 became Director of Engineering. In 1982, he expanded his duties as Executive Vice President and in 1984 was named Coen President and CEO. Mr. White continues to serve on Coen's Board of Directors.

Mr. White recently commented, "With this new appointment, Coen Company continues to invest in the growing needs of its worldwide industrial and utility customers for emission reduction, boiler controls, flame detectors, combustion upgrades, auxiliaries, and burner management systems.
