Sept. 12, 2003 -- Wood Group JTC Ltd, part of the John Wood Group PLC Power Accessories and Components business, has signed a repair license and distributor agreement with Whittaker Controls, Inc.
The agreement covers the entire range of Whittaker Controls products installed on industrial gas and steam turbines used in the oil & gas and power generation industries. Wood Group JTC will service the European, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and African markets from its dedicated gas turbine fuel accessory maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Dublin, Ireland.
George Gaudette, President of Wood Group Power, said: "This repair agreement gives operators, service providers and engine OEM's in the Eastern Hemisphere a full service facility for the repair of Whittaker-manufactured staging, isolation, pressurising, blow off and CDP valves. Wood Group will also offer rapid exchange services on additional Whittaker products and a full retrofit service in conjunction with other Wood Group field service and repair businesses."
