Energy Resources Consultancy launches new industry development group

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 10, 2003 - A core group of international experts in energy project development announced the formation of a new business venture called Energy Resources Consultancy LLC (ERC).

The organization will offer expert review of project proposals, technology selection, design, financing options, construction and operations.

"The members of ERC have over 200 years of combined experience in energy project development," said Vernon Shorter, President & Managing Director of ERC. "Additionally, we will have a cadre of construction and operations-hardened technicians available to assist in defining and implementing energy projects of every nature."

Project developers can access expertise in a number of engineering, governmental policy and managerial disciplines on short notice and without significant contractual commitment. Pre-project evaluations assess the viability of an energy project under consideration and include recommendations in areas from feasibility to eventual operations.

For many project developers, ERC will eventually provide the "Owner's Perspective" of a broad range of technical and policy issues related to a given energy project. ERC provides recognized experts in the energy industry for confidential and unbiased written report, telephone or personal consultation at the developer's discretion.
