19 June 2003 - Spanish construction group Dragados said Wednesday it has been awarded a contract worth €150m by Belgian utility Electrabel to design and build a combined-cycle gas power plant in Spain.
The plant is to be built in Castelnou, in Aragon, Northeast Spain. It will have a generating capacity of 800 MW and will enter into service in the second half of 2005. Construction is due to start this year.
Some 500 workers will be employed in building the plant.
