Open Systems International Inc. receives order from FPL Energy for a generation management system

Minneapolis, MN, June 17, 2003 -- Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) announces that FPL Energy has chosen OSI for implementation of a Generation Management System (GMS).

The system includes Real-Time Information Management, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Multi-Area/Multi-Market Generation Control and Dispatch, and Transaction Scheduling, as well as Market Operational interfaces to ERCOT, PJM, and the New England ISO. The system is based on the Windows 2000 and Oracle platforms.
