Pall Corp. completes acquisition of Filterite and other USFilter divisions

East Hills, NY, April 26, 2002 -- Pall Corp. announced that it has completed the acquisition of Filterite and other divisions of the Filtration and Separations Group (FSG) from USFilter Corp.

The other acquired divisions are Fluid Dynamics, also headquartered in the United States; SeitzSchenk and Schumacher, both headquartered in Germany; and Exekia, headquartered in France.

"By combining the resources of Pall with other leaders in the industry with complementary strengths and products, we will be able to provide our customers with broader and more complete solutions for total process control, enabling them to better manage their filtration processes from beginning to end," said Eric Krasnoff, Pall Corporation Chairman and CEO. "We believe this will result in numerous efficiencies for our customers including the ease and reliability that comes with partnering with one supplier for integrated solutions for all their filtration and separation needs."

The addition of approximately $270 million in sales from FSG is the largest acquisition to date for Pall Corporation, bringing the Company to more than $1.5 billion in sales. FSG, a pioneer in filtration products for the separation and purification of liquids and gases, primarily serves the food & beverage, industrial, microelectronics, biotech and pharmaceutical industries through its five divisions.
